01

Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

PepChatters LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, United States. We provide trained customer support and chat specialists to peptide brands and creators.

This policy covers pepchatters.com and the emails, calls, and messages that follow from it. It does not cover any other website, and it does not cover the customer data we handle for our clients. The next section explains that difference, because it is the one that matters most.

02

The Two Roles We Play

We handle personal information in two very different roles.

For our own site and prospects, we are the controller. When you visit the Site, book a call, or email us, we decide what is collected and why. This policy applies to that information in full.

For our clients, we are a service provider.When we work for a client, our specialists handle messages from that client’s customers inside the client’s own helpdesk, inbox, and order systems. That customer data belongs to the client. The client decides what is collected and why. We access it only to perform the services, only under our written agreement with that client, and we do not use it for our own purposes and do not sell it.

If you are a customer of a brand we support and you want to know how your information is handled, contact that brand. Their privacy policy governs, not this one. If you contact us instead, we will pass your request to them.

03

Information We Collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, company or brand name, social handle, website, and anything else you choose to tell us in a booking form, in an email, or on a call, including the notes we take about what you need.

Information collected automatically when you visit. Your IP address, the approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, the page that referred you, the pages you view, and how you move through and interact with those pages.

We do not ask for, and do not want, payment card numbers, government identifiers, health information, or account credentials through the Site.

04

Analytics, Session Replay, and Cookies

We use analytics to understand how the Site is used and to improve it.

Vercel Analytics. Our host provides traffic analytics that count page views and referrers without using cookies to identify you.

Microsoft Clarity. We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products and services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products and services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud and security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Cookies. Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The Site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and analytics cookies set by Microsoft Clarity, including CLID and MUID. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site still works if you do, though parts of it may behave differently.

Scheduling. Our booking page is provided by Cal.com and loads in your browser directly from Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com processes the details you enter under its own privacy policy and shares them with us.

05

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to your inquiry, and schedule and hold calls;
  • prepare a proposal and, if we work together, set up and run the services;
  • send you information about our services and follow up on a conversation you started;
  • operate, secure, and improve the Site;
  • keep business records, invoices, and correspondence; and
  • comply with law and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, our legal bases are our legitimate interest in operating and marketing our business, taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with legal obligations.

06

When We Share Information

We share personal information only in these situations:

  • Service providers who run parts of our operation on our behalf, under contract and only for that purpose. These currently include our website host, our scheduling provider, our analytics providers, our email and helpdesk providers, and our payment and accounting providers.
  • Professional advisers, such as our lawyers and accountants, where needed.
  • Legal and safety, where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we reasonably need to protect our rights, our clients, or the security of the Site.
  • Business transfer, if PepChatters is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Information transfers with the business, and this policy continues to apply until it is replaced.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact lists.

07

How Long We Keep Information

We keep inquiry and call information for as long as we need it to follow up, and then for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. We keep client records and financial records for as long as the law requires. Analytics data is retained by our analytics providers on their own schedules; Microsoft Clarity retains data for a limited period set by Microsoft.

08

How We Protect Information

We use access controls, encryption in transit, reputable vendors, and a need-to-know rule inside our team. Everyone who works for us is bound by written confidentiality obligations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously and we limit what we hold.

09

Your Choices and Rights

You can, at any time:

  • ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it or delete it;
  • ask us to stop contacting you, or unsubscribe from any message we send;
  • withdraw a consent you previously gave, without affecting what we did before; and
  • object to, or ask us to limit, a particular use.

Email support@pepchatters.com and we will act on your request. We will not treat you differently for making one. We may need to verify who you are before we act.

Depending on where you live you may have these rights by law, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and comparable state laws, and under the GDPR in the EEA and the UK. We extend the choices above to everyone regardless of where they live. For California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. We also honor a Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser as an opt-out request.

10

Children, International Visitors, and Other Sites

The Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

We operate in the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or another approved transfer mechanism with our providers.

The Site links to sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own. See our Terms of Service for more.

11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page, and where a change is significant we will make that clear on the Site. Please check back from time to time.
